What is employee engagement..?
Is a workplace approach designed to ensure that employees are committed to your business goals and values, or otherwise emotional commitment that they feel for your company and your company's goals? employee engagement is not the same as employee satisfaction it does not address employees' level of motivation or emotional commitment.
According to Macey and Schneider (2008), Employee engagement is a desirable condition. It has an organizational purpose, and connotes involvement, commitment, passion, enthusiasm, focused effort, and energy, so it has both attitudinal and behavioural components.
Important factors that affect employee engagement...
Company Culture.
Simply refers to the attitudes and behaviors of a company and its employees. a strong culture is characterized by employees who are highly engaged and productive, give their effort beyond the minimal requirement.
Leadership.
Most people don’t know what’s required to be successful at the beginning, so they depend on strong leaders to provide guidance, honest feedback, and the support needed to reach their true potential. strong leaders set a clear path during times of uncertainty and guide them accordingly, encourage employees to give their best, and support individual career growth and development.
Team Work.
When teams collaborate, share resources, and communicate with clarity and frequency, everyone has the chance to offer their skills, energy, and ideas to the broader team and organization.
Value of Individual.
People want to feel their contributions are valued, appreciated, and that they have a place and are empowered to make improvements and support company strategy. Organizations with highly engaged employees value individuals not only for their contributions and ideas but also for their potential to help the company grow.

- Engaged Employees
Employees are those who work with full potential and are emotionally attached to the organization. they are innovative and provide new ideas to move the organization forward. they always work for the betterment of the organization.
2. Disengaged Employees
Employees are those who seek directions from their superior and do only that work which has been asked for or assigned for. such employees do put in their time, but not passion and energy into their work.
3. Actively Disengaged Employees
Employees are those who unhappy and resentful and spread unhappiness in the organization. since they are always provoking and convincing the other employees to leave their jobs and move out of the organization.
as an organization in my company play the vital role in covid -19 time period they realise that how much the employee engagement important and how to get used of that time like this , so they regularly communicate with all and keep updating us about the real situation and give clear direction to us to what to do they give us to fell how much they care about us as an organization.
CONCLUSION.
Employ engagement is playing a vital role in the growth of the organization, for better employee engagement organization has a big role to play, the organization must have a better plan to get more employee engagement from the certain activity, the same time it is good to identify the type of employee engagement to take the right decision. and the type of employee how available in any organization and implement the action plans according to them. and improve productivity.
